Pictures of my Q1U-V
I promised pictures of my Q1 so here they are:

This is a zoomed in picture of the battery case. There is a small button on the back that shows the user what the battery level is at - A handy little feature if you don't want to have to turn the UMPC on.
Now that you've seen my pictures (which probably aren't all that different from the others out there) tell me what you think. Do you want pictures with more detail?

The front of the Q1:
It has the split keyboard, the mouse direction on the left side and the buttons on the right (for both left and right clicking). The wrist strap comes in handy - it would suck to drop this thing!
The top of the screen has a number of lights for hard drive access, battery, bluetooth, and a digital web /still camera, etc. The screen is a touch screen as well as a Tablet for use with the stylus (not shown.)
The back of the Q1:
The back of this thing has the stand which can be extended so it sits upright on the desk. The removal battery is on the right hand side and underneath the stand there is the battery lock.
The sides have two long strips that help with your grip of the unit and as far as the silver circle is concerned, I believe that is where the optional biometric reader goes.
When I disassembled this unit (see the later post) it was just an empty shell, not connected to anything!
