1st Person Biography:
Hello! My name is Chris Kenst and I’m a QA Engineering Manager at Promenade Group where I coach testers and developers on how to test better. My goal is to help us accelerate the achievement of shippable quality.
I’m also President of the Association for Software Testing (AST) a global non-profit dedicated to advancing the craft of Software Testing. Before I joined the Board of the AST I was a Lead Instructor for their BBST courses. I’ve also co-taught BBST alongside Cem Kaner and been a peer advisor to James Bach’s Rapid Testing Intensive online courses. Prior to this I was a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer which is all a long winded way to say I enjoy teaching others.
Since I enjoy talking and writing I try to give a few public talks and workshops each year. I write at Kenst.com where you can also find a list of my talks. I created and now maintain an open source list of software testing conferences and workshops.
